Tappahannock awarded Best Large Club Award

It was a surprising night Rotary members Norman Wood, Bill Croxton and Fred Woodard will never forget as The Tappahannock Rotary Club was recognized, again, as the best large club of the year (2015-16) in the large club category for the second time in three years. Bill Croxton is awarded the Paul Harris Society level 7 - named after Rotary's founder, the Paul Harris Society recognizes Rotary members and friends of The Rotary Foundation who contribute $1,000 or more each year to the Annual Fund, PolioPlus Fund, or approved global grants. The purpose of the Paul Harris Society is to honor and thank individuals for their generous, ongoing support of The Rotary Foundation. Rotarian of the Year!!

Congratulations to Ron Geiger supported by Penny on being named Tappahannock Rotarian of the Year. In addition to being club treasurer and secretary, Ron managed the complex financial and legal organization of the Essex Tornado fund raising project including the set up of the Tappahannock Rotary Club Foundation! Well done Ron!
