Rotary Club fund raiser in partnership with the Tappahannock Regional Free Clinic.... John Lewis takes on additional sponsor funds by running the 5K in diapers.... Along with John Lewis, these Rotarians also completed the course: John Lewis, Michael Faulkner, Dr. Richard Lewis, Joe Johnston, Bruce Thomas and
Jerry Duvall. These Rotary Club members helped organize and support the 5K run by acting as intersection controllers, start and finish line helpers, and providing drinks at various points on the course: John Frazier, Bill Croxton, Em Hughes, Gary Youngling, John Gregory, Tommy Neuman, Harry T Gladding, Vince Donoghue, C Norman Wood, Ned Garber, Larry McElroy, Doc Frank, Fred Woodard and David Broad.
Tappahannock Rotary Club and Tappahannock Regional Free Clinic partnered for a successful fund raiser 5K Bunny Hop. Led (i.e. fastest Rotarian on two legs....) by President John Lewis who challenged the club members to raise additional sponsored funds by daring to wear diapers... the team of Rotary runners included Michael Faulkner (Chief exec of the Free Clinic), Jerry Duval, Richard Lewis, Bruce Thomas and Joe Johnston. A great turn out and a credit to what two kindred organizations can achieve when they put their heads together....
